Attempting Chayah

Confessions of my soul.

I want God to move in this city so badly.

God lay your hold on this city, shake it to it’s core

Let us awake as a community to praise you

Chula Vista is ripe for the harvest, and it pains me to see that it gets passed over

God, let your HOLY SPIRIT MOVE

I want your Holy Spirit to move throughout this city so bad

I can’t handle it

I want you to move… move…. move…

Every part of my soul aches with the pains of wanting revival!

I want to see revival in this city, here am I LORD use me!

I want this city to be so satisfied in you that, you are most glorified!

God, I want this city to be radicial shaken by a group of believers

I want them to see your love through us

But, why do we keep leaving this broken city to go to another

God, help me to understand.

In Christ Alone

When I am deeply satisfied in christ, He is most glorified through me!

His shadow casts grace on anything thing it might touch

He could of picked anyone, and he chose us.

He saw fit to reveal his Son to us.

What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease

—In Christ Alone

Thanks a lot, Macklemore. This Goodwill is filled with record execs on the hunt for new white rappers. It used to be about the CLOTHES.

So Emotional

Questions I Ponder.

If the acronym ”LoL” was a thing during Roman occupation, do you think gospel would have references to Jesus “laughing out loud.” It would definitely be in the book of John.

It is Jesus that you seek when you dream of happiness; He is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you. He is the beauty to which you are so attracted. It is He who provokes you with that thirst for fullness that will not let you settle for compromise. He is He who urges you to shed the masks of a false life. It is He who reads in your hearts your most genuine choices, the choices that others try to stifle. It is Jesus that stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the refusal to allow yourselves to be grounded down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society making the world more human and fraternal.
